A reminder: HE'S ALIVE! He didn't walk out of the tomb to go back in! He walked around for forty days, met a lot of people (at least four hundred), ate with ten inside somewhere, and ate with four others on the coastline of the Sea of Galilee. After all this, he decided enough was enough and he met with some of his students and allowed them to see him leave the Earth by rising up and disappearing in regular clouds. There was nothing supernatural about the clouds, but his manner of leaving this world certainly was beyond the ordinary.
Yes sir! He's alive! He went into a heavenly realm over 2000 years ago and sat down on his throne next to his father. As he sits there, he is waiting to hear his father (our God) say, "Son, it's time to leave this realm and re-enter the place of humans. They need you as their King. You have my unction to be a conqueror. Go."
I'm watching the calendar and the clock. I am convinced that his return to Earth is almost imminent. I believe it's a matter of a very few years. All the signs --- geologic, political, monetary, social, cultural, scientific, religious --- point to the end of human history as we have known it. That being the case, his return is inevitable and nearer than the secular system knows, can know, and will ever accept. He will surprise some and shock others.
So, since he is alive and he is returning in the near future, what should our course of action be (if any)?
Getting one's house in order is necessary but cannot be accomplished without the direct guidance of The Holy Spirit. In order to hear his voice, one must become a genuine, modern-day disciple of Jesus. Find a Bible, turn to the New Testament, begin by studying the Gospel of Mark. Next, study Matthew, followed by Luke and finally John.
In each gospel, watch for the teachings of Jesus regarding the Kingdom of God. Take special care to note the ways he demonstrated the principles, the laws of operation, and their implementation for successful living. Living a successful life is an abundant life. The abundant life is much more than money. It is peace, joy, and productivity in accomplishments.
In this process, you will quickly discover that The Holy Spirit is opening the door of the school's office occupied by Jesus. You will hear the invitation to step inside and meet the headmaster of the school. When you acknowledge him as the headmaster and submit to his authority, there is a guarantee that when he literally comes back, you will definitely be a part of the student body. That's great news! That's good news! That's the gospel!
